On May 17, 2018, CABA Board Member and Historian, Elaine C. Sit, received her 2018 CVLS Pro Bono Honor Roll Award from Rebekah Azar Rashidfarokhi, Director of CVLS Guardian ad litem for Minors Program at Law & Disorder, an annual fundraiser featuring comedy and fun for CVLS. Elaine was honored for her work at the Chinatown Pro Bono Clinic, a standing CABA and CVLS sponsored legal clinic which takes place on the second Saturday of every month at Chinese American Service League (CASL).
